Mrs. Bartlett's Homework Expectations:
-Homework folders come home EVERY night.
-Parents should initial homework folders every night.
-There will normally be homework every night except Friday.
-Students will be responsible for copying homework from the board before they leave each day.
- Nightly reading of at least 15 min. Is required as part of homework.
- Missing homework assignments will result in a classroom money fine and loss of some recess

Parents:
I believe that homework is an important connection for student learning to occur. Most homework is assigned as a way for students to practice what we have covered in class. Occasionally as project is assigned to help kids develop a deeper understanding of a concept.

I encourage parents to be involved in their child's homework. Parents can help their child with homework by helping them to:
-Establish a routine
-Read and understand directions
-Find resources and ways to figure out answers
-Checking and help make corrections
