Mrs. Blevins' class had two guest readers, Andy Meyer and Laura Zirfas, from the Missouri State University SIFE  team majoring in business as guest readers.  For their business project, their team wrote and illustrated a children's book.  As part of their project, they had to read their book to elementary students and collect data from the students they read the book to and their teachers.  Their book is called Tommy the Turtle and Friends.  Below are pictures of Andy and Laura reading their book to our class.  Thank you Andy and Laura for sharing your wonderful book with our class.  We are using your book as an inspiration to write our own book before the school year is over.  We look forward to seeing your book published and in our school library some day.
