Day 1 You will choose your teams composed of a: On Day 1, you and your team should the travel agency's wiki to plan your rainforest project for the next three weeks. Click here for the travel agency's wiki. Days 2 and 3 On Days 2 and 3, your team members should decide which scientist they want to be. They should begin their research and include in their multimedia presentation and brochure general information about the rainforest, its location and special features that would interest people enough to take a vacation there. Be sure to include information about the layers in the rainforest. Be sure to present your information in such a way as to persuade people to take a vacation there. All members of your team must submit information to be included in the multimedia presentation and brochure. The owner of the travel agency, Mrs. Blevins, would like your team to turn in a planning sheet showing each team member's contribution.
Day 4 On Day 4, part of your team will create the title slide and general information slide(s) of your multimedia presentation and the other part will begin to create the first page of the brochure.

Days 5-7 On Days 5-7, each member of your team will become an expert on the information they are researching. The anthropologist should research the different people that live in the rainforest along with their food, clothing and shelter.The botanist should begin researching the plants that live in the rainforest. The zoologist should begin researching the animals that live in the rainforest. The biologist should also help the the botanist and the zoologist research the plants and animals that live in the rainforest. As you do your research, make sure you take good notes that you can refer to when making your multimedia presentation and brochure. Don't forget to include nonfiction books as well in your research.
