Supply List | 4th Grade Progress Report
4th grade curriculum is based on the state standards and goals. This is taught through thematic active learning projects. Themes include Missouri history, native Americans, aquatic studies, and Invent America. The 4th grade has a classroom economic society. We run a Jingle Bell Shop in December, attend Exchange City in K.C. in the spring The students earn school "money" through jobs and good behavior. The last week of school, the students spend their money at a real auction with items such as boom boxes, baseball memorabilia, and the like. Highlights of the year include Aquatic Day, Missouri Day and Native American Day.
Fourth grade students also get to particpate in the Channel 37 News project, Kindergarten buddies, and Honor Choir.
