Homework is important. It encourages parental involvement and gives students practice that reinforces important skills. Math Home Links are graded and effect quarter grades.
Math basic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts should be standard home practice. We will include "Take a minute or two..." fact practice slips when needed for those students who need extra practice.
There are also ongoing assignments including word wall word review and books to read. A word wall for each month will be included in the homework folder and is available online. Take 15 to read sheets are sent home on nights when students need to report what reading they did for homework.

Daily assigned homework is intended to take no more than 30 minutes each night.
