The Spanish Club traveled to MU for their annual International Day Event on September 28th to gain an awareness of international diversity through the various international clubs and organizations at MU. The students had an opportunity to try exotic foods from around the world as well as listen to music from India, Chinese to Hispanic music. In addition, Hallsville students had the wonderful opportunity to see MU students dressed in their authentic cultural outfits and hear them speak in their native language. Many students also had their names written in Chinese and had the opportunity to see and learn about the many artifacts on display that can only be found in other countries. This certainly was a great opportunity for our students to learn and appreciate other cultures!
