The Peer Helper Organization along with Officer Deitzel has prepared a week of activities for our student body.

The following are themes for the week!  Points will be given each day for participation.  Each advisory will also create a door decoration (details TBA later) and the advisory with the most points for participation in the themes and the highest points for the door decoration will receive a party!!!!

Monday - Oct 25th   “Being Drug Free is No Sweat” Wear your favorite sweats!

Tuesday- Oct 26th  “Drugs are rated ARRRRGGGGGHHH” Dress like a pirate!

Wed. - Oct 27th      “Say Peace out to Drugs” - Dress like a hippie

Thursday Oct. 28t   “Chop out Drugs” Lumberjack Day –dress like a lumberjack – (example:  flannel shirts, plaid shirts, hiking boots – NO Chainsaws)

Friday – Oct 28th – “Say Boo to Drugs” Dress in your Halloween costume!!

School policy should be followed when dressing according to the themes.  Mr. Plourde has approved the wearing of hats for your costumes but if they become distracting in class a teacher has the right to asked you to remove it.  No weapons, knives, guns, masks or excessive makeup.

Peer Helpers will be in the high school lobby and in the cafeteria on Monday, October 25th passing out bracelets for all students to wear throughout the week.  Please report to either location to pick up your bracelet and sign the Drug Free Posters. 

Speakers will be presenting on the following days:

Monday – October 25th – Think First Presenters
6th hr.  – Freshmen and sophomores will report to the north gym
7th hr. – Juniors and seniors will report to the north gym

Tuesday – October 26th – Missouri Drug Prevention Presentation to juniors in Mrs. Morrison’s English classes

Wed.  – October 27th –All students will report to Advisory for a video presentation.

Friday, October 29th – Missouri Drug Prevention Presentation to seniors (schedule TBA later but plan for 5th – 8th hrs. in the HS Library – seniors will be divided into 4 groups).
