Hallsville High School - Senior Services

Senior scholarships are presently available in the High School Counselor's Office.

    Shane Dean Voyles Memorial – One $500 scholarship will be awarded to one student based on athletic, scholastic and leadership qualities. Hallsville is only allowed to submit one applicant so these are due in the guidance office by April 10th 2006

    The American Legion Scholarships: ** The basic requirements for these scholarships are that you are a descendant of a veteran with a at least 90 active service with an honorable discharge. You will need a copy of the discharge papers. This can be a parent, grandparent or great-grandparent. Applications may be picked up in the guidance office.
    Due Date is April 20th, 2006.

    Boone Electric Community Trust Scholarship -$1,000 scholarship is offered to one student from each of the eight Boone Co. Schools. You must reside in a Boone Electric Cooperative service area. (you do not have to be a cooperative member)
    It is based on financial need, community service and leadership activities. The application must be typed. In the guidance office we have blank applications for the type writer or you may check out a disk to be filled out in Microsoft word. You will have to ask Deb for the disk and may only be checked out for a total of 4 days. You will also need to include two letters of recommendation. Deadline is April 14th, 2006 to be turned into the guidance office.
