Daily Oral GrammarThe beginning of the hour is set aside as DOG time. Students are expected to pay attention to the mini-lesson, participate in the discussion, and copy the information into the DOG section of their binders. Keeping DOGs organized will make getting and giving makeup work easier and will improve grades on the DOG quizzes. DOG topics will include: parts of speech, pieces of punctuation, writing process, paragraph parts, reading strategies and more.
