Summer School

Summer school is offered Tuesday through Friday for students entering 1st-12th grade June 13, 2023, through June 30, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:40 a.m.

Transportation: Summer school provides transportation pick up and drop off services similar to the regular school year services. Service points, routes, and schedules will be determined after summer school registration is complete. The bus routes with estimated times will be sent home as soon as we receive all replies and determine summer bus route needs. Students are only allowed to ride the bus that they are assigned to.
Meal Services: Breakfast is served daily from 7:40 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., and lunch is available for students during the school day. Menus will be provided before the first day of summer school.

Kindergarten Jumpstart
June 20, 2023 - June 30, 2023
Kindergarten Jumpstart is a half-day program for students entering kindergarten in the fall of 2023. The program runs from June 20 - June 30. There is a morning AM class from 8:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and an afternoon PM class from 12:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. For the AM class, doors will open at 7:40 a.m.; for the PM class, doors will open at 12:00 p.m.
Location: Kindergarten Jumpstart will be held at Hallsville Primary School for students enrolled in AM and PM classes.

All students must be registered with the district before registering for Kindergarten Jumpstart. Kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year will open on Tuesday, February 21! Online enrollment and registration will open on Tuesday, February 22, 2023, at noon for all children who will be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2023, and will be entering kindergarten in August 2023. All registration and verification documents must be completed online and submitted by Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Transportation: Transportation is not available for students enrolled in Kindergarten Jumpstart. The doors open at 7:40 a.m. each morning for student drop-off.
Meal Services: Breakfast is served daily from 8:05 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Lunch is not provided.
