School Supply Lists 2026-2027
The Hallsville Inter-Church Council invites all Hallsville students to the Back 2 School Bash on Saturday, August 1, at the Lemone Building on the Hallsville Fairgrounds! This free event kicks off at 11:00 a.m., with school supplies handed out from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Children must be present to receive supplies before 12:30 p.m.; after that, supplies may be given without a child being present. Let’s get ready for a great school year together!
This event is free and open to all Hallsville students!

PRESCHOOL
- 1 Full Size Backpack (large enough to hold a folder & papers) – No wheels or drawstring bags
- Change of clothes labeled with student's name (shirt, pants, socks, underwear) for warm AND cold weather
- 2 spiral notebooks
- 1 box of spoons
- 1 box of Crayola markers
- 1 box of crayons
- 8 containers (3 oz each) of Play-Doh
- Boys: Paper plates
- Girls: Dixie cups
- Diapers/Pull-Ups and wipes if your student is not potty trained (as needed)
- 1 box of snacks enough for 10 kids (there will be additional sign-ups during the year)

KINDERGARTEN
- 1 large backpack (large enough to hold a folder & papers) – No wheels and no drawstring bags
- 4 boxes of 24-count Crayola crayons

- 1 large box of tissues
- 12 small Elmer's glue sticks
- 1 supply box (no larger than 9" x 6")
- 2 packages of fine-tip black Expo dry-erase markers
- 1 pair of kid-sized scissors (blunt tip if possible)
- 1 box of #2 pre-sharpened yellow pencils, 12 count (no designs)
- 2 spiral notebooks
- 1 pair of headphones – No earbuds, no Bluetooth
- Girls: 1 box of sandwich-size baggies
- Boys: 1 box of gallon-size zipper baggies

School meal prices will be set at the July Board of Education meeting.

Pay at School
Payments are accepted at all schools. Place checks or cash in an envelope with your child's first and last name on it and have your student hand it in to their homeroom teacher or school office. Please write your child's name in the memo line of the check.
Pay Online
Lunch payments can now be made in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by sending cash or check to the school.
To make a payment in Infinite Campus:- Log into Infinite Campus Parent Portal via the app or online.
- Select Food Service
- Click on the blue Pay button
- Enter the amount to put on your student's account
- Select Add to Cart
- Go to your Cart
- Add payment information
- Infinite Campus charges a 4% fee for credit cards and a $.35 fee for checks.

While families are not required to complete the Free & Reduced Meal Application, we encourage all families to apply. Meal program eligibility is also used as a criterion for many other federal funding opportunities for students within our district. Applications for free or reduced-price meals must be completed each school year. However, if family income changes, a new application can be completed and turned in to the building office.
Families can apply online through Infinite Campus or print off and return the form below once available in late July 2026.

Transportation
Bus assignments will be released via ParentSquare by Thursday, August 20. If you have any questions regarding transportation requests, please email transportation@hallsville.org or call 573-696-5512 extension 7001. As a reminder, students are only permitted to ride the bus to which they are officially assigned. If a student is not assigned to a bus, they are not allowed to ride one. All bus transportation changes must be coordinated and approved through the Transportation Department.
