School Picture Day is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, for all students. School photos are used for student ID cards, in our student information system, yearbook, and more. All orders must be placed online at www.inter-state.com/order using an electronic check, debit card, credit card, or PayPal. Online order codes for each school are listed below:

We are excited to celebrate Homecoming 2025 on Friday, September 26!
The Hallsville High School Indians football team will host Eldon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, for the 2025 Homecoming game. The homecoming parade will also be on Friday, September 26, at 1:30 p.m. All preschoolers through 12th grade not involved in the parade will be able to watch, and we invite the community to line the streets as well! HHS Student Council will release additional information soon!

The Hallsville PTO strives to be active within our schools and looks forward to another successful year of events and being able to provide support to Hallsville Schools. The PTO holds multiple events throughout the year, including their annual Trivia Night in February. These annual events help support activities and scholarships and allow the PTO to purchase large and small-scale items for students, teachers, and buildings.
Please join the Hallsville PTO for their first meeting of the year on Monday, September 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the intermediate school media center.

The 2025-26 school year marks the third year of our district-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative. PBIS is an evidence-based framework that supports students' behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs. When implemented effectively, it enhances social-emotional competence, academic success, and overall school climate.
We are excited to continue this commitment across all areas, including at our first Indian home football game on Friday, September 5. Expectations for home games this season include:

Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself
- No Roughhousing
- Footballs, Frisbees, or recreational items will NOT be allowed in the stadium.
Stay in your assigned area

HHS Student Section: North end of the home bleachers (Closest to concession stand)

HMS Student Section: 5 row bleacher furthest north (Across from restrooms)

HPS/HIS Student Section: All students in grades preschool through fifth grade must stay seated with their parents or guardian. There is no defined section for these students.
- Students will not be allowed to be behind the home bleachers or on the guest side at any time.
- Any student that leaves the stadium will not be allowed to reenter the stadium.

We are excited to continue to grow our Hallsville Golden Tribe, a new program open to Hallsville community members aged 60 and older! This group was created to strengthen connections and offer members the opportunity to stay informed, engaged, and involved with the achievements and programs of Hallsville School District. The Golden Tribe aims to enhance community ties while celebrating the accomplishments that contribute to the success of our students, teachers, and district programs.

The 2025-2026 handbooks are now available for families to review online. We encourage parents to take a moment to look them over. Each handbook also includes a specific section on Positive Behavior Interventions And Supports (PBIS), highlighting school expectations, multi-tiered frameworks, and encouragement systems that are in place at each building. If you have any questions while reviewing the handbooks, please contact your building principal. |

Within the app, you can also change your notification settings to best fit how and when you receive communication from the school.
There are three ways that you can receive notifications : Email, Text, & App. Within each notification , you can also select off, instant, or digest .
Off: no notifications about posts will be sent to you. Emergency Alerts and Notices will still be sent.
Instant: you'll receive an email and/or text and/or an app notification every time a notice or message is sent.
Digest: you'll receive an email and/or text and/or an app notification once a day in the evening with all posts from that day. This occurs at 6:00 p.m.

Substitute Crossing Guard: We are seeking individuals that would like to be a substitute crossing guard in the morning and afternoons. If you are interested, please email Ada Tharp at atharp@hallsville.org. Times are 7:15 a.m - 7:55 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Special Education Paraeducator: This is a 10-month position with benefits. Q ualified applicants will need to have 60 college credit hours OR be willing and able to take the Praxis test.

School Bus Driver: This is a 9-month position with benefits. Qualified applicants need to have the ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with S and P endorsements. Training on campus is available!
